Arras is 50 minutes from Paris on the fast train (TGV) and 2 hours from London by the Eurostar.
There are numerous trains arriving directly from the Paris Airport (Roissy – CDG), and from Marseille, Bordeaux, Brussels, Amsterdam etc.
By road, easy access by freeways A1 from Paris or Lille or Brussels, and also the A26 from Calais or the Champagne Region.
La Corne d’Or is 850m from the station ie 10 minutes by foot or by taxi. If arriving by car there is inexpensive public parking in the square opposite the house in Place Guy Mollet, and after your arrival we can arrange private parking at the back of the house (No cost).
La Corne d’Or is strategically situated as you can easily walk to all the local tourist sites : the 2 main squares; the Grand Place and Place des Héros with the Town Hall, its Belfry and underground caves (les Boves), and a few minutes way, the Fine Arts Museum in the Saint-Vaast Abbey, the Citadelle etc
Whatever your reasons for visiting Arras; WW1 Battlefield sites, for professional reasons, or for cultural visits, family reunion or a wedding, Arras is only 20 minutes from the Louvre Museum in Lens, Notre Dame de Lorette and the Ring of Remembrance, the Canadian Memorial in Vimy, the museum in Bullecourt, and the Battlefields and Memorials in the Somme (such as the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, the Franco-British Memorial in Thiepval etc) are only 45 minutes by car.
